SYNOPSIS
LCC is as a useful economic assessment technique that provides total cost information, which can facilitate the government and private agencies, asset owners, cost estimators etc. in the built environment to make better decision in determining the most optimum total ownership costs of an asset. This session is a detailed discussion into the formulas and the calculations involved in LCCA.
BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd. Fairullazi Ayob
He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Quantity Surveying, KAED, IIUM. He was awarded the Best PhD Student Award 2014 in Built Environment for his research on Life Cycle Cost (LCC). He had invented several novelty protocols of LCC analysis that filed for copyright and patent, and also applied in the consultancy works, training services and research projects. He is a registered professional engineer (P.Eng.) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE).
