SYNOPSIS

The main objective of the Langat 2 Project is to distribute the treated water within Selangor and Kuala Lumpur as required to meet the water demand areas, particularly Hulu Langat, Ampang, AU3, Kuala Lumpur, Cheras, Sg. Besi, Bukit Jalil, Petaling and Puchong areas.

This tunnel package falls under Package 6A, which entails constructing Hulu Langat – Ampang Tunnel, a dual water storage and conveyance tunnel for providing water supply to the Northern Corridor of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. The main components of the water retaining structure for this package are RC Inlet/Outlet Chambers and 2 tunnels which will traverse across under part of the Hulu Langat and Bukit Sungai Putih Forest Reserves with an approximate length of 2.2km.


SAFETY REMINDER :
Participants shall be well-equipped with their own PPE equipment, i.e. safety helmet, safety vest and safety boots in order to be allowed access into the site.
