SYNOPSIS
Step into the shoes of a time traveler in the realm of project management as a delay analyst. Explore the world of forensic delay analysis, delving into its techniques, strengths, and weaknesses. Discover how this technique enables us to investigate both past events and their actual impact (retrospective) on projects as well as future projections (prospective) of delay impact on projects. Gain insights into recommended practices and protocols essential for executing appropriate delay analysis. The webinar will focus on AACE International RP 29R-03 on forensic schedule analysis.
SPEAKER BIODATA
Thomas has 20 years’ industry experience in the working environment of Main Contractor, Project Delivery Partner and Claim Consultant, predominantly relating to projects within high rise building and infrastructure sectors.
Thomas specialises in delay analysis, project planning, scheduling, project control, monitoring and project management. He has significant knowledge of Primavera P6and Microsoft Project.
Thomas has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, majoring in Construction Management. His technical knowledge as a delay analyst combined with his software competency means Thomas is consistently proven to exceed client satisfaction. Thomas has experience in providing programme planning and scheduling service as well as successfully performing various forensic delay analysis including preparation,review, assessment, evaluation and recommendation for enhancement for Extension of Time claims, and as support to the Expert Witness with the time related issues in the arbitration proceedings and other dispute resolution services.
With working site experience, Thomas gained the vast experience in live project management particularly in project controlling stage during the project execution and proven to be able to work independently and resourcefully in a hands-on way to resolve programme and time claim issue.
He is listed in “Who’s Who in Engineering Malaysia, First Edition, Volume 1, 2022” by the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
He is also an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE).
