SYNOPSIS
This talk presents the Malaysia smart city policy and The Strata Management Act (SMA) 2013 to regulate the condominium community with the case study in Kuala Lumpur. Property management is the professional services intended for a quality living environment where owners paid for services.
The talk gives insight into the possibility of cost reduction with the assistance of smart technologies, automation, robots and IoTs.
BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Ir. Prof. Dr. LAM WEI HAUR
Ir. Prof. Dr. LAM WEI HAUR, is a professor from UTAR Sg. Long Campus. He was an associate professor at the University of Malaya (UM) with bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and Ph. D from the Queen’s University Belfast (QUB).
He has research experiences at the University of Oxford, the University of Plymouth, UK, Tianjin University, and the Dalian University of Technology, PR China.
