SYNOPSIS

Missile is a self-propelled long-range weapon usually powered by a jet engine or rocket motor. There are many types of missiles with different configuration and roles. To control and manage missile operations, one of the essential elements that vital is the Combat System (that is, the Naval Combat System). This webinar aims to present how Missile systems and Naval Combat Systems work that will support the operational requirement in Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN). The second goal of this webinar is to share knowledge on Naval Combat and Defense Systems in the RMN so that it will encourage Malaysian engineers to engage/participate in developing Naval Combat Systems in the industry.


BIODATA OF SPEAKER

LT CDR Ir. Ts. MOHD FAISAL BIN MOHD RAZALI RMN

Lt Cdr Ir. Ts. Mohd Faisal bin Mohd Razali RMN is the Royal Malaysian Navy Engineering Officer since 2009. He is major in Weapon and Electrical Engineer and one of the Ammunition Technical RMN expert. Throughout his service in RMN, he has held several appointments ashore such as Ammunition Technical Officer at Naval Ammunition and Explosive Depot, Staff Officer at HQ Fleet System and sea as well as Assistance Weapon and Electrical Engineer Officer (AWEO) onboard KD LEKIU and Weapon and Electrical Engineer Officer (WEO) of KD PERAK.

Lt Cdr Ir. Ts Mohd Faisal is a Professional Engineer (Ir.) and Professional Technologist (Ts.) registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and the Board of Technology Malaysia (MBOT) in 2020 respectively. Lt Cdr Ir. Ts Mohd Faisal holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering from University Technology Malaysia (2009). Beside that, Lt Cdr Ir. Ts. Mohd Faisal also has attended various of courses such as Ammunition Technical Officer Course and Missile Maintenance Course.

Despite being busy with various work commitment, Lt Cdr Ir. Ts. Mohd Faisal also active in paramotor extreme sport. He also has appointed as Paramotor Development, Competency Evaluation and Training Committee in Malaysia Sport Air Federation (MSAF) in 2022.
