SYNOPSIS

The global impact of the post-COVID-19 economic recovery and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine War has been felt by businesses worldwide, including those in Malaysia. Companies in Malaysia are struggling with significant increases in raw materials, energy, and logistics prices, leading to a drop in the country's world competitiveness ranking from 32 to 25 in 2022, according to the International Institute for Management Development.

To thrive in today's highly competitive market, companies must continually strive to improve their operational performance. One effective approach is by adopting Lean Practices, a concept pioneered by Toyota Motor Company. Lean Practices are designed to enhance efficiency by eliminating waste and non-value-added activities. By embracing this technique, companies can streamline their processes, reduce costs, and deliver better value to their customers. In a nutshell, Lean Practices offer a powerful solution for businesses that are seeking to optimize their operations and achieve sustainable growth in the long run.

This webinar will give an overview on the following topic:
• What is Lean Practices?
• 8 types of Waste in Lean Practices
• Some examples on how Lean Practices can help oil & gas businesses
