SYNOPSIS

Palm oil production is crucial for the economy of Malaysia, which is the world's second- largest producer of the commodity after Indonesia. With the current high CPO price, it is vital for the mill engineers to ensure that the mills are operating in optimal condition and improved productivity.

The Talk will cover the basic palm oil milling process and ways to improve its efficiency.


BIODATA OF SPEAKER

Ir. Goh Su Kin graduated in Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Multimedia University (2006). Currently he is a Deputy Chief Engineer with PGC Management Sdn Bhd and has worked in the palm oil industry for 17 years with knowledge and experience in operation management and maintenance.

Ir. Goh is a Corporate member of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) in Machanical Engineering discipline and a registered Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC) with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM).
