SYNOPSIS

CIDB E-Construct Services Sdn. Bhd. (CIDBEC) offers specialized Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services expertise to participants and stakeholders in the construction sector to use ICT as part of their respective business processes guided by advice from CIDB.

Business Objective:
• Stimulate and enhance productivity in the construction field through the use of ICT.
• Offer products and services to construction industry players to practice ICT in business
   processes.
• Provide and develop construction content and internet-based applications for the benefit of the
  construction industry in Malaysia.
• Create and develop trade exchanges and B2B services.
• Facilitate e-commerce in the construction industry as well as expand business reach beyond
  geographical borders to other regional countries.
• Facilitate and operate the myBIM Center as a One-Stop-Center that enables the implementation
  of BIM in Malaysia.

myBIM Center was established by the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB Malaysia) for the benefit of industry players. myBIM Center was officially launched on 20 November 2017 by the former Senior Minister of Works, Dato 'Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof. CIDBEC has been appointed as the implementer of the BIM program and has also been operating the myBIM Center since its inception. As the National BIM Reference Center for construction industry players, myBIM Center provides various programs and facilities based on building design modelling or infrastructure projects by using BIM simulation technology to generate, communicate and analyze model information in a digital platform that can be used throughout the construction project lifecycle.
