SYNOPSIS
Advancement of aircraft engineering and technology escalated exponentially after the first successful flight by the Wright Brothers. Despite the success of mankind and flight, there were many technical challenges associated with the development the flying machines in terms of engineering design and technologies. While aircrafts are one of the safest vehicles to transport passengers and cargo, there were still incidents and accidents that occurred historically. Each incident and accidents data captured were analysed carefully to identify the errors in order to make improvement to the engineering design and technologies involved. The result of the analysis and improvement affects engineers, engineering technologist and engineering technicians in terms of designs, operations, work processes as well as executing their crucial roles. In this webinar, the speaker will share some of the aviation disasters that have taught engineers, engineering technologist and engineering technician on their ability to make changes in design and technology for the safety of the aircraft and public.
