BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Mr. Kevin Prakash has an active practice in dispute resolution and had been involved in complex disputes in various forms since being called to the Malaysian Bar in 1998. He is regularly engaged in trial and appellate matters and as counsel in arbitration. He is experienced in diverse types of disputes including corporate and commercial disputes, contractual, civil and shipping disputes. His principal practice is in engineering and construction disputes and has represented a diverse set of clients including employers, main contractors and subcontractors. Kevin is a qualified adjudicator.
Mr. Andrew S. Kalish was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1998 and had garnered extensive experience in criminal and civil litigation and corporate consultancy primarily involved in international trade and trade financing in Singapore & Dubai. He is now the General Counsel for a Malaysian Education Group and is also involved in corporate and legal consulting. Due to his myriad experience in the legal, corporate and business world, he has been entrusted to develop continuing professional legal education courses at Brickfields Asia College (BAC), a leading law school in Malaysia and heads the CPD Department there. Mr.Andrew is the Programme Director for Professional Diploma in International Arbitration (PDIA) that BAC runs jointly with the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators since 2012.
