BIODATA OF SPEAKER
1) MR. MARVIN LIONG
Graduated with B.Eng (hons) Electronic Engineering from Multimedia University in 2004. Wireless Industry veteran for 16 years. Started my telco career in CDMA network operations, then worked for a start up deploying 2G services in rural Malaysia for Maxis. After 5 long years in a start up company, decided to jumped into wireless product management and not too long after that was called to join maxis in the technology development department. In Maxis I ran the NBIOT technical assessment and trial which led to it being brought into commercial service in 2019. Most recently I led Maxis’ 5G field trial specifically from the end to end readiness perspective with focus also on Massive MIMO and technical capability.
2) MS. WAN AMAL ZULKIFAR
Graduated from Multimedia University in 2015 in B.Eng (hons) Telecommunications Engineering . Started off my career in 2015 in a major Malaysian telco, I have 5 years experience across diverse portfolios from pre-sales for fixed services, retail suite product management and current business development across IOT solution. Currently servicing clients from different industries to address business pain points with the right IOT technology solutions, driving conversations on how technology could provide value to businesses.
