SYNOPSIS
The unprecedented crisis hit every sector and globally discuss. the phenomenon who affected almost all economic sector, industrial, education etc. the essential question raised globally its how to wake-up from the lockdown which had been facing almost every country in the world. The lockdown who makes almost all business are shutting down temporarily and also permanently. This is also affected professional services offer like engineering, construction, manufacturing sectors and etc.
The new norm question raised by the professional practices to unprecedented issue is how to survive? What its sustainability measures should be taken? Therefore, this topic will discuss on the unprecedented phenomenon hit globally and what it’s the effect to the professional service. Further discussion on how to be ready if this phenomenon hit again and what are the new norm that we should be ready to practices.
SPEAKER’S BIODATA
Ts. Sr. Nadzirah Hj. Zainordin is currently persuing her PhD study with particular study in area of sustainability assessment in Higher Education Institutions at University of Technology Malaysia. She received Masters of Sciences in Quantity Surveying from Heriot-Watt University, UK in 2013 and Bachelor of Sciences (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from International University College of Technology Twintech, Malaysia in 2010. Recently she is the Programme Leader in Quantity Surveying department in SEGI University. She is the senior lecturer that have passion to give the best possible education and knowledge sharing to students. The major interest of her research study is focused on sustainable development, green building, resilient building and also any relevant field in built environment.
