SPEAKERS BIODATA

En. Abd Karim Hj. Mohammed is Managing Director for T&D Consult Sdn Bhd which expertise in traffic management. Among the professional services provided are consultancy, planning and designing traffic control plans, provision of qualified personnel services, and the implementation of traffic management on-site.

Among the achievements of En. Abd Karim is the direct involvement in providing guidelines on traffic management such as Traffic Management During Construction under the cooperation between the Public Works Department (JKR) and the Road Engineering Association of Malaysia (REAM) as well as Arahan Teknik Jalan (ATJ) 2C/85 (Pindaan 2017) under JKR.

He has been entrusted to be advisors, trainers and speakers to both private and government institutions such as the JKR, the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), the Municipal Council, as well as the Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (MESTECC) in the traffic management field.

He also involved in various contracts with the government and the private sector. From the scope of providing tender drawings, preparing tender documents such as the Bill of Quantity (BQ) and Traffic Control Devices Standards, to the implementation of traffic management on-site. He has been entrusted with responsibility for the Traffic Management consultants for mega projects such as the Electrified Double Track Project from Ipoh to Padang Besar, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), Pan Borneo Highway, Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT).
