Synopsis
Industry 4.0 or the ‘smart factory’ that encompass the internet of things, cyber-physical systems and cloud computing with some industrialists term it as the fourth industry revolution is gaining momentum in recent years. A smart factory that could meet production demands based on customers’ order without human intervention will be the factory owner’s dream come true. The speaker, Mr. Kelly Wee, will bring to us via his vast experience on the adoption of industry 4.0, the emerging of new technology in industry 4.0 and how digitization is moving from the consumer to the producers. He will shows us with the industrial/business digital ecosystem and the right ICT infrastructure, a large scale on demand customized production, transaction and delivery system of physical commodities is achievable. Kelly Wee Kheng Soon
Kelly Wee is an expert ICT Professional with more than 20 years of experience in project management, consulting solution sales, strategic corporate account management and business development whom rose through the rank at major Global MNCs such as Compaq Computers Corp, Logica-CMG and HewlettPackard (HP) in various disciplines and industry verticals solutions domains.
Currently, Chief Information Officer in Huawei and a PhD candidate in International University of Malaya-Wales, Kelly Wee is responsible as a brand ambassador evangelizing Huawei’s IT visions/strategies and articulating the advantages of Huawei ICT/Cloud/Data Center and Integrated solutions value through architectures and services as well as providing technical leadership and assistance in winning strategic deals and building ongoing customer relationships within Malaysian market.
