SYNOPSIS

The rapid pace of urbanization especially in South East Asia is expected to result in an exponential boom in the development of high rise building that translates into higher demand for more and longer busduct system to distribute the electrical power in new buildings. This distribution system is also applicable to the old buildings when they undergo modernization and upgrading works. Today, the conventional cable distribution system is largely replaced by busduct system due to its technical advantages, flexibility, space-saving, reliability and many more as compared to the cable system.

Furthermore, SIRIM certified Eco-Labelling mark is also granted to Furutec by SIRIM Malaysia as an environmentally-friendly product.

This session will share Furutec’s experiences and different types of busduct system in serving a broad range of different applications and market segments and meeting the customers’ high expectation and specification, especially the critical power distribution of a data centre as well as the power distribution for outdoor and harsh environment.


BIODATA OF SPEAKER

Mr. Darren Ng graduated in year 2002 with Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University of Wales Swansea, United Kingdom. He has more than 10 years of experience in the sales and marketing, technical product presentation, developing new regional distributors and business partners for Furutec busduct system in the domestic and international level. He was recently invited to be one of the speakers in the 3rd International Green Workshop & Exhibition on Green Energy & Environment with Innovative Infrastructure & Building Design organized by IEM on 4 Oct 2016 to share with the audience about ‘Furutec Busduct System – What we are doing to be Eco-Friendly?’
