Synopsis
Business according to the ISO 9001:2015 can be interpreted broadly to mean those activities that are core to the purposes of the organization’s existence, whether the organization is public, private, for profit or not for profit.
ISO 9001 is a standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system. It helps businesses and organizations to be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction. A new version of the standard, ISO 9001:2015 has been launched, replacing the previous version (ISO 9001:2008).
This one day course is to provide guidance to changes to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and describe the steps necessary for implementation and improvement by the organization. It t is designed for anyone involved in the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of a Quality Management System (QMS). This training will highlight the new standard, its structure, changes needed and way forward to implement the new standard effectively.
Biodata of Speaker
Ir. Dr. Ahmad Anuar bin Othman, PEng, FIEM, MIQM, IRCA Registered Lead Auditor, MRCA Registered QMS Consultant, MRCA Certified Senior Auditor, CCPM, MPMI, PMP graduated with a Doctorate in Project Management from UiTM, Shah Alam in 2006. He received Master of Science (Distinction) in Construction Management from University of Birmingham in 1998. He earns his Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from State University of New York, Buffalo in 1986.
Ir. Dr. Ahmad Anuar bin Othman is a former Board member and life member of Institute of Quality Malaysia. He has more than 25 years of experience and has been actively involved in promoting Quality Management System in different field of industries as well as developing and delivering training programs related to quality. He has been invited as Guest Lecturer in the subject of Quality Management in a number of local universities and agencies. He is a former Director of Quality and Performance Audit Section of DID.
He is also a Certified Construction Project Manager with CIDB. He also serves as a Member in Panel of Assessors in the Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Awards under CIDB since 2014. He is currently the Chairman of Project Management Technical Division of IEM, a council member of IEM and a Board Member, Board of Engineers Malaysia. He has completed a University of New South Wales program for Leadership and similar program organized Center for Creative Leadership San Diego, California. He attended training in Advance Human Resources Management at University of California Los Angeles and Human Resource Institute of New Zealand.
