Synopsis
One of the major challenges in large scale solar farm is securing the land of sufficient size. TNB Research (wholly owned subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad) together with Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water has embarked on 100kWp pilot floating solar system in Sg. Labu Water Treatment Plant in Sepang, Selangor. The aim of this technical visit is to learn the issues and challenges of implementing floating solar farm in Malaysia.
