How do we manage the integrity of the asset in the oil and industry particularly degradation that involve corrosion matters?  This talk gives an insight into the initiatives taken to the creation and application of Corrosion Management Framework (CMF) which is believed have an impact on the safe operation of the asset in oil and gas industry.

Optimisation of Biomass Supply Chain Management Using P-Graph Application in FELDA Jengka - Azreennisa Binti Abdul Haleem
Biomass is one of the alternative sources of energy which has a promising future to complement or replace fossil fuels. However, the main barrier in utilisation of biomass for energy production is the cost associated with biomass supply chain management. Biomass supply chain management involves process of planting, harvesting, storing, transporting and processing. The focus of this research is to solve the combinatorial complexity of biomass supply chain in FELDA Jengka using a mathematical framework, P-graph.

Fibrous Expanded Polystyrene Lightweight Concrete Wall Panel – Rohana Mamat
This study used steel fibre as fibrous expanded polystyrene lightweight concrete to enhance its strength. In line with architectural demand and ventilation requirement, opening within wall panel was also taken into account. Experimental tests were conducted for actual size of solid wall panel, reinforced and unreinforced Expanded Polystyrene Lightweight Concrete wall panel. Asset Integrity framework for subsea  project execution phases - Ir. Jeyanthi Ramasamy, MIEM
Traditional petroleum topside facilities have common access from topside. Unlike topside facility, a subsea asset has no direct access and very little human interaction for any intervention (repair). Many studies have been carried on asset integrity during operation phase or life extension project after project team handed over the asset to operation team. However, very little emphasis and study has been done on asset integrity during project stage in particular to subsea development which requires higher diligent.


About The Speakers

Kamila Ab Hamid has more than 6 years of experience in oil and gas industry particularly in the area of A sset Integrity mainly on corrosion analysis, materials selection, Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Fitness For Service (FFS). Graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2010 with Bachelor of Engineering (Material) (Honours).  Active participation with Professional Bodies such as National Association of Corrosion Engineer (NACE),Institute of Materials Malaysia (IMM),Society of Petroleum Engineer (SPE) with main contribution as Technical Committee( NACE,IMM).

Azreennisa Binti Abdul Haleem graduated from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in 2016, currently working as Process Engineer with Citech Energy Recovery Systems Malaysia Sdn Bhd, subsidiary company of Muhibbah Engineering (M) Bhd. She has actively participated in IEM including National Chem-E-Car Challenge and IEM Plant Design Competition. She has publications in Chemical Engineering Transaction (CET) on biomass supply chain management during her internship in University of Pannonia, Hungary.

Rohana Mamat  received the Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Structure), 2014, UiTM  Shah Alam  and Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, 2008, UiTM Pulau Pinang. With 8 years working experiences, she was previously working in a G7 contractor company before serving UiTM at Facilities Management Office Shah Alam Branch.

Ir. Jeyanthi Ramasamy graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (Petroleum Engineering) in 2006 and obtained a Master of Technology (Petroleum) from the Curtin University of Technology in 2012. She is currently completing her PhD in subsea engineering with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. In 2006, she started her career as a drilling engineer with Talisman Malaysia Limited and worked in drilling rigs as night drilling supervisor.  After few years of drilling and offshore experience, in 2008, Shell offered her career movement to subsea engineering. She was one of fewer Malaysian that trained in deepwater subsea engineering, experience and expertise. She delivered the first Shell Malaysia deepwater project, Gumusut Kakap umbilical package worth USD 250 Million.
