SYNOPSIS

ORACLE PRIMAVERA P6 is the recognized standard for high performance project management software designed to handle large scale, highly sophisticated and multifaceted projects. Participants will gain understanding in concepts of project planning, scheduling and controlling covering the 3 basic element of Project Management: Schedule, Resource and Costs.Focus will be given to unique Primavera features such as Enterprise Project structure (EPS) ,Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS) , Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Enterprise Resource Management  and Portfolio Management capabilities of Primavera P6 EPPM .Live demonstration of actual project will be given during the presentation.


BIODATA OF SPEAKERS

Mr. Vijaya Ganesh Govindarajan have 12 years’ experience in Primavera software implementation, training, consulting & planning services. He is Certified Oracle Primavera Implementation Specialist by Oracle. Currently Vijay is Head of Technical & Implementation at IPEC Project Systems Sdn Bhd. He has assisted many clients in Primavera software deployments & trained over 150 participants in Primavera training’s. Vijay is also involved in providing planning services to clients.  He has Bachelor Degree - Electronic Science, 2004 from Madras University and  Masters of Computer Application (MCA) from Anna University, India graduated in year 2008.

Mr. Vijay will give detailed demonstration & presentation on Oracle Primavera P6 software covering all features & functionalities of the software and how Primavera P6 software can be used for enterprise project & portfolio management to individual project management. His demo will cover both client & web module of Primavera P6 software. Focus will be given to cost & resource management aspects of Primavera P6 which is core strength of the software.

Mr. Lakhbeer Singh Sohan Singh is founder and Chief Operating Officer of IPEC Project Systems Sdn Bhd. IPEC is Oracle Primavera specialized partner in Malaysia. Lakhbeer have been involved in Primavera solution marketing, pre sales, implementation & support for the past 16 years. He has experiences in assisting client in the scope of Primavera implementation in various industry sectors such as construction, oil & gas, rail and property development. Through his 16 years of experience in Primavera line he has witnessed evolution of Primavera software from scheduling tool under Primavera Systems Pte Ltd to complete project portfolio management solution under Oracle Corp. He has Post Graduate Diploma from Chartered Institute of Marketing UK (1995) & Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Heriot Watt University UK (1999).

Prior to founding IPEC he was based in Doha,Qatar where he was managing technology division for MICA Qatar Group a local Qatari based project management consulting company. During his stint at Mica Qatar he was responsible for founding technology division in Mica Qatar and assisted with implementation of Primavera software at Qatar Public Works Authority (Ashghal) .To date Ashghal is the biggest user of Primavera software in Qatar. Mr. Lakhbeer will be presenting on how Primavera software have evolved over the years, comman pitfalls & mistakes client make during implementation, challenges of implementing Primavera for large companies/projects, strength & weakness of Primavera software and what’s the vision of Oracle Corp in order to improve Primavera software in coming time & what clients can expect.
