SYNOPSIS

Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) is working towards to be a prominent research University by year 2020. Realizing the importance of research and development, various efforts and initiatives have been taken in the past 13 years including the establishment of global research network with local and international collaborative partners and establish research centers focusing on several niche areas including but not limiting to power generation and delivery, electric vehicular, photonics and solar technology, communication and networking, health science and etc.  Up to date, there are a total of 27 research centers added. In this technical visit, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman would like to extent the knowledge of engineers on research areas and applications to the related industries including smart grid, electric vehicle, solar concentrators, energy management, communication and networking, health science and etc.
