SYNOPSIS
The Gumusut-Kakap Project is one of the largest deepwater oil and gas developments in Malaysia. In this talk, an overview of the Gumusut-Kakap Project will be given. The Development Concept will be shared and the key technical features and challenges of the Subsea Infrastructure and the semi-submersible Floating Production System will be explained. The speaker will also update current progress pictures and brief the participants on the HSE requirements.
BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Mr. Milan Hendrikse (MSc. Eng.) is currently the Gumusut-Kakap Project Manager. In June 2007 he joined Shell in Malaysia and managed HSE and the Offshore Part of Gumusut-Kakap, before he took over as Project Manager in December 2010.
Mr. Milan completed his Aeronautical Engineering study in Delft and National Service in the Air Force before he joined Shell in 1990 as a Field Engineer. He had various assignments in project engineering/management, business development, HSE and Construction. He has more than 15 years working experiences in related field.
