SYNOPSIS
Lightning phenomena’s are mega – atmospheric electrical activities which may cause fatal injuries and extensive damages to properties and services. Malaysia had adopted MS IEC (IEC) 62305: Protection against Lightning as national standard for design of lightning protection system for buildings since 2011, replacing BS 6651: Protection against Lightning. This seminar shall delve on compliance of ESE systems with IEC 62305.
SPEAKER’S BIODATA
Mr. Bruno Roland graduated with an Electrical Engineering Degree from Cachan IUT (University Institute of Technology), France in 1981. He has more than 22 years professional engineering experience in surge and lightning protection and engineering advancement of protection against lightning, such as representing ABB in France, European and International standards writing committees on lightning protection. Moreover, Mr Bruno is speaker in international conferences on lightning protection, such as Symposia on Small Windmill, 2013: Solutions for Windmill Protection against Lightning, and inventor of lightning solutions such as Pulsar Rodcheck System (2010) and High Frequency Test Set (1995)
