Synopsis
The implementation of Structural Eurocodes in Malaysia is underway and soon they will be the only prescribed design codes for our buildings when the use of the current British design codes is completely withdrawn. Hence, it is imperative for our design engineers to start preparing for this migration to the new Structural Eurocodes as soon as possible. In this connection, this industrial seminar on Riding the Waves of Change – From British to Euro Codes is organized specially to raise awareness of the Structural Eurocodes and in particular, to discuss issues related to material selection, design of steel and composite steel concrete structures for our building projects.
