SYNOPSIS

BRT is a transit system that utilizes separated bus ways, with modern stations, feeder services, integrated pedestrian access, rapid boarding and high service frequency. The proposed BRT Sunway Line will link up key areas in Sunway and Subang Jaya with 7 stations, strategically connected to other modes of public transport. It will feature park and ride infrastructure and covered walkways to all major commercial centres, as well as the latest eco-friendly bus system with disabled-friendly features.

This technical visit will provide participants insights to the works on the new BRT Sunway Line. An overview to other mode of connectivity to line. Participants will also have a chance to experience a short technical visit to the station.

All stations will have facilities such as lifts, escalators, public telephones, surau and public toilets. The stations will also be equipped with Universal Access facilities such as ramps, tactile tiles, low ticket counters and toilets for the disabled.
