Implementation of MS IEC 62305 with special emphasis on Risk Assessment, focusing on four main risks associated with lightning strike:
R1: Risk of loss of life R2: Risk of loss of service to the public R3: Risk of loss of cultural heritage R4: Risk of loss of economic value
Radioactive lightning terminals in Malaysia Discussion about the continued presence of radioactive lightning terminals, its effects on the environment and measures that can be adopted to phase out such terminals
Biodata of Speaker
Dato’ Jimmy Lim is an Electrical Engineer by profession and is the founder and currently the CEO of Tokai Group of Companies. By combining his academic qualifications and work in his career, Dato’ Jimmy has built Tokai into a Market Leader in the field of Lightning and Security Engineering Solutions in Malaysia. Under his leadership, Tokai has grown from a small firm specializing in only lightning protection into what it is today a regional market leader in Lightning Protection and Security Engineering. Currently, Dato Jimmy is leading the project team for the MRT Project, whereby Tokai is involved in designing and installating the Earthing System for this prestigious national project. So far Tokai has completed the Cochrane MRT Station, KL Sentral MRT Station, South Portal MRT Station and the Merdeka MRT Station.
