ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Dr. Thulasi is a seasoned professional with a strong background in Manufacturing System Engineering, holding a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree earned from Universiti Putra Malaysia (2019-2023) with an impressive CGPA of 3.75. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at Inti International University & College (IIU) since September 2023. Dr. Thulasi plays a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape.

In the academic realm, Dr. Thulasi is dedicated to planning, developing, and delivering impactful learning and teaching materials within the subject area. Beyond the classroom, her commitment extends to conducting research, scholarly activities, and consultancy services, contributing significantly to the university's profile. Additionally, Dr. Thulasi undertakes management and leadership duties, showcasing a comprehensive approach to her role.

As a Senior Lecturer, Dr. Thulasi is deeply involved in guiding and supporting students in their academic and professional development, reflecting a passion for fostering the growth of the next generation of professionals.

Prior to her academic role, Dr. Thulasi garnered valuable industry experience as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Kendek Products Sdn. Bhd. (November 2017–August 2023). In this capacity, she demonstrated expertise in monitoring production scheduling, ensuring on-time delivery, and effectively communicating with customers. Dr. Thulasi also played a crucial role in optimizing logistics systems and processes, showcasing a proactive approach to improving overall efficiency.

With a wealth of academic and industry experience, Dr. Thulasi brings a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical insights to both the academic and manufacturing domains.
