ABOUT NATIONAL CENTRE FOR DISEASE CONTROL (NCDC)
National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) is a project under the Public Health Program that has been implemented Building Information Modelling (BIM). The development of an integrated NCDC is aimed to strengthen country’s capacity and capability against public health threats.
NCDC aims to integrate and strengthen the disease control and preventative activities and high-end analytic diagnostic and confirmatory laboratories services in more centralized and organized manner compared to current system. Four major components that include with:
i. Executive Centre ii. Disaster, Outbreak, Crisis, and Emergency Response Centre iii. Public Health reference Laboratory (PHRL) iv. Other Supporting Department.
Every facet of this visionary project is meticulously represented through digital three-dimensional models. Beyond mere design visualization, these models facilitate seamless coordination, streamline drawing production, and enhance the efficiency of the as-built processes. The collaborative nature of these processes, driven by Building Information Modelling (BIM), ensures both individual and collective contributions, fostering a deeper understanding of project requirements.
Why Attend the Technical Visit:
The technical visit to NCDC offers consultants and contractors valuable benefits. By participating in this technical visit, gain firsthand insights into the innovative fusion of public health and BIM technology. Witness how the NCDC project is revolutionizing the landscape of disease control infrastructure and discover the transformative power of BIM in shaping the future of engineering projects.
NOTE: - The visit is strictly limited to 15 participants registered on a “first-come first-serve” basis. - Transport : COACH WILL PROVIDED
