SYNOPSIS

The COLDGROW™ technology developed by Wasavé is an alternative energy solution utilising Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) as a clean source of energy. This system recovers cold energy from LNG regasification, recycled for either cooling, power generation or food farming. It promotes energy management and, ultimately, provides significant reductions in energy bills and carbon emissions.

The COLDGROW™ project may potentially create R&D opportunities and promote the practice of new technologies and innovation. A collaborative agreement was signed between MIGHT and Wasavé to implement the new COLDGROW™ CGR energy system on-site at the MIGHT Partnership Hub.

The innovative and self-contained COLDGROW™ CGR energy system is a revolution in the industrial world and is the first of its kind in Malaysia. It also plays a crucial role in addressing and offering alternatives to some of the problems we face in the areas of energy efficiency, food security, the development of smart cities, socio-economic impact, and industry improvements.

SAFETY REMINDER : Participants shall be well-equipped with their own PPE equipment, i.e. safety helmet, safety vest and safety boots in order to be allowed access into the site.

 The visit is strictly limited to 20 participants registered on a first-come, first-served basis or once the visit reaches its limit number of participants.
