SYNOPSIS

An overview of the design and installation of a permanent steep faced, anchored-shotcrete retaining wall up to 6m in height. Will include a reflection on the detailing and lessons learnt during the project implementation.


BIODATA OF SPEAKER

Mr. Dave is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 30 years of experience of engineering, business development, leadership and management. Beginning his career employed by a large civil engineering contractor in the UK, the last two decades Dave has predominantly been involved in retaining wall, embankment stability and erosion protection projects in the UK, Australia and Overseas. Dave is Managing Director of the Retaining Technologies Group (RTG), established two years ago to deliver'turnkey' or total Retaining and Soil Reinforcement Systems and Solutions to the Australasian building and construction industry.
