SYNOPSIS

The UITM Gambang Solar PV Park, located in the heart of Malaysia, is a state-of-the-art facility that harnesses the power of the sun to generate clean and renewable energy. Spanning a vast area of 110 hectares, the farm boasts an impressive array of solar panels that efficiently convert sunlight into electricity (50 MWe), making a significant contribution to Malaysia's green energy goals.

During the visit, IEM members will be taken on a comprehensive tour of the solar farm, where they will have the chance to observe the intricate processes involved in solar energy generation. Experts from the facility will provide detailed insights into the design, installation, and maintenance of the solar panels, as well as the transmission and distribution systems.
