SYNOPSIS

This seminar is intended to give aspiring road engineers an overview of the complete road design process. As such, the seminar will encompass all major aspects of road engineering including traffic study, geometric design and Road Safety Audit.

Ir. Eeh Yih Bing will deliberate on the stages of Road Safety Audit and where do these stages of Road Safety Audit will be executed. Ir. Eeh will also be discussing information that needs to be furnished at each and every stage of Road Safety Audit and more importantly, what are the design elements that are the main focus to the Road Safety Auditor at the respective stages of Road Safety Audit.


BIODATA OF SPEAKER

Ir. Eeh Yih Bing has been involved in numerous Road Safety Auditing in Malaysia, such as North South Expressway (NSE), Seremban Port Dickson Highway (SPDH) under PLUS, SMART Tunnel, MEX (Maju Expressway), NPE (New Pantai Expressway), DUKE (Duta- Ulu Kelang Expressway), DUKE 2 & DUKE 3, KTMB Electrified Double Track – Rawang to Ipoh, Seremban to Gemas and Gemas to Johor Bahru, MRT, LRT 3 and Pan Borneo. etc.
Ir. Eeh graduated with a Bachelor Science of Civil Engineering degree from University of Kentucky, USA in 1999. He has been in the engineering profession for more than 18 years with involvement in road design and Road Safety Audit. He is an Accredited Road Safety Auditor.
He is currently attached to Pakatan Jurutera Pintar (PJP) Sdn Bhd. He is also an active member of Highway and Transportation Engineering Technical Division (HTETD) in the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).
