SYNOPSIS

IEM ENGINEERING WEEK 2011 – FORUM ON “MALAYSIA ENGINEERING STARS”, is a forum which will showcase the most prominent engineers in various fields such as Politician, Construction, Consulting and Academician. These prominent engineers in their respective fields will be sharing their invaluable experience and success journey as well as their perspective on engineering in Malaysia in line with our theme for IEM ENGINEERING WEEK 2011 “ENGINEERING FOR A BETTER LIVING”. The Forum will be conducted in four (4) sessions i.e. “Engineers as Politician”, “Engineers in Construction”, “Engineer as Consultant” and “Engineers as Academician”. The opportunity to share the experience, knowledge, and expertise with these prominent engineers will be an opportunity not to missed.


OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the FORUM ON ‘MALAYSIA ENGINEERING STARS’ are:-
1.    To launch the Engineering Week 2011;
2.    To provide a platform for the Prominent/STAR Engineers in Malaysia to share their experiences and perspectives with relevance to engineering in Malaysia;
3.    To provide new outlook, view point and perspectives of Engineering from various background in line with the themes “Engineering for a Better Living”;
4.    To provide an opportunity for fellow engineers to engage the experience, knowledge and expertise, with the prominent engineers in Malaysia.
