BIODATA OF SPEAKER

Ir. Dr. Kamarul Anuar Mohamad Kamar

Dr Kamarul has been in the corporate scene for the past 17 years spanning across MNCs, GLCs and Public Listed Companies. He is well versed in the areas of strategy, innovation, and corporate planning.

He is currently the Director of Operation of Tropicana Corporation Berhad and Board Director of Tropicana Gloves Sdn. Bhd. He was formerly with UEM Group Berhad, Lafarge Malaysia Berhad and Ranhill Berhad. He had in the past been appointed as the Board Director of UEM Construction Sdn Bhd. being involved in the construction of PNB118.

Dr Kamarul is a Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC) registered under the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), Senior Member of Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) of Project Management Institute (PMI). He holds PhD from University of Salford Manchester, Master’s degree from University of East London (UEL), Bachelor of Engineering from University of Malaya (UM) and Certificate in Business Analytics and Strategy Execution from Harvard Business School (HBS)
