SYNOPSIS
The talk is going to focus on IC design where basis of developing of IC product would be introduced. The case study will be based on PMSM Controller IC with short demo of PMSM Controller ICMSM. Most of topics content will suit students and young engineers who aspire to work in IC design area that combines with motor operation inline with IR4
SPEAKER BIODATA
Mr Chia Chieu Yin received is Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering in 1999 from San Jose State University, USA and his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from UC Davis, USA in 2001. He was joined Advanced Micro Devices, USA as a Senior Design Engineer working on NOR Flash memory. He was involved in the Architecture, Design, Testing and Production of 5 NOR Flash Memory products.
In 2009, he left AMD and joined MIMOS Berhad. He has experience designing IP’s such as Analog to Digital Converters, Digital to Analog Converts, Oscillators, Motor Controllers and Temperature Sensors at MIMOS. He is also actively involved in providing Analog IP and Layout design services to international clients.
