SYNOPSIS
Nowdays, Drones, have become the subject of tremendous media interest, controversy and misunderstanding. But it is touching the lives of more people every day in a positive way.’ In this talk, speaker will give an explanation on what is Drone and the Industry Market. On top of that, the audience also can know types and also components of a drone. The Policy, Guidelines, Rules & Regulations – includes Application for Aerial Work Permits also will be explained by the speaker.
SPEAKER’S BIODATA
Ir. Amir Hussein Bin Jaafar graduated from University of Technology Petronas (UTP) with Bachelor Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) in 2001 and from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) with Master of Science (Real Time Software). He is registered as a Professional Engineer (Electronics) status with Board of Engineers Malaysia since 2007. He has more than 16 years of experience in electronics hardware and embedded software development projects, and development and testing of advance powertrain and electronic control system for automotive application. With the industry experience, he has been giving specialized green technology training to TVET trainers and also conducting STEM courses for school students since 2016 He is currently the Head of Design and Development Engineering of Eco Motive Sdn Bhd and Technical Director for Micro Concept Tech Sdn Bhd.
Mr. William Robert Alvisse has a Diploma in International Advertising from International Advertising Association in 1995. He participated in and helped oversee the marketing and advertising campaigns for many types of clientele as well as developed and led event management for the launch of the Petronas Twin Towers with a multi-national crew and entertainment ensemble including multi-media animation, which was witness by the PM and dignitaries. Not just that, Mr. William also led a Professional Aerial Photography business using primarily helicopters as aerial platform. Clients included Aviation (Malaysia Airlines), Plantation, Consultant Engineering, Maritime, Shipping and Housing Developers. Developing downstream products from aerial photography such as calendars, postcards and souvenirs including curating an aerial image bank.
