SYNOPSIS
Ts Ir. Choo will brief on the history of engineering in Malaya and later Malaysia which was instrumental to the social and economic development of the nation and its contribution in particular to the ASEAN engineering community with the prospering thy neighbor concept. He will share his vision on professionalizing the technologists and technicians to be prepared for the digital revolution and the important role to be played by IEM and MBOT for a harmonious, prosperous and sustainable nation.
BIODATA
Ts Ir. Choo Kok Beng FASc is IEM’s Honorary Fellow and Past President. He was also the Past President of the Technological Association of Malaysia (TAM) founded in 1946 and its trustee and Honorary Fellow. A board member of the Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT), he chairs the International Affairs Committee".
