SYNOPSIS
AutoCAD Civil 3D software is a design and documentation solution for civil engineering that supports building information modeling (BIM) workflows. By learning to use AutoCAD Civil 3D, you can improve project performance, maintain consistent data, follow standard processes, and respond faster to change.
This course focuses on the following Civil 3D skills: • Introduction to Civil 3D • Working with Toolspace • Surface Creation • Working with Alignment • Working with Profiles • Assemblies (Road Cross Sections) • Designing Corridors • Creation of Sample Lines • Working with Sections for Volume Calculation
Recommended hardware requirements as follows:

- CPU Type 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 64-bit (x64) processor
- Memory 4 GB (8 GB or more recommended)
- Display Resolution Conventional Displays: 1360 x 768 (1920 x 1080 recommended) with True Color
- Display Card Windows display adapter capable of 1920 x 1080 with True Color capabilities and DirectX® 9 ¹. DirectX 11 compliant card recommended. ¹ DirectX 9 recommended by supported OS

1. Ir. Gary Chien Fan Chee
Ir Gary Chien holds a BEng (Hons) and MBA from University of Melbourne. He has more than 20 years of engineering experience in infrastructure and built environment projects. Ir Gary Chien works at OPUS International (M) Berhad which is a member of UEM Group. He advocates a Common Data Environment (CDE) to facilitate collaboration across project teams. Ir Gary Chien serves on the ICT SIG at IEM. He also serves as Second Interviewer for Professional Interview examinations
2. Ms Nurul Farhana
Ms Nurul Farhana graduated in 2012 with Bachelor of Civil Engineering in Management from University Technology of Mara (UiTM). With 5th years experienced in Autodesk Product, Ms Nurul is working as BIM Coordinator in Bina Initiatives Sdn Bhd. She had involved in infrastructure project as well as building project such as Electrical Double Track Project (EDTP), KVMRT Line 2, Duke 2, PR1MA (Housing) and Hospital project. She had conducting training for AutoCAD Civil 3D and Autodesk Infraworks in Malaysia and Singapore.
