BACKGROUND
West Coast Expressway (WCE) is a proposed Toll Expressway of 233 km linking Banting to Changkat Jering, Taiping. It is divided into Selangor and Perak alignment. This provides an alternate road to the existing PLUS North South Expressway. WCE traverses through significant length of soft ground along Selangor alignment where extensive ground treatments are being carried out. At Klang area, about 4km of the alignment is also elevated viaduct with number of pile foundation types covering driven spun piles, bored piles and hand dug caissons.
Note:
- The visit is strictly limited to the first 25 participants registered on a first-come-first-served basis.
- The participants are required to bring their own safety helmets, safety vests and safety shoes.
