2026 - IEM AVIATION SAFETY COMPETITION “Safe Skies Start with Airworthiness Compliance”

The Challenge
Participants are required to submit: - A digital A2-sized safety poster (PDF format, 300 DPI) design highlighting key aspects of aviation safety, including the design aspect of airworthiness, maintenance safety, human factors, safety reporting, incident prevention, and training and competency.
- A 3-minute pitch video summarizing the core message of their poster.
- The submission guidelines will be provided after the registration.
- All submissions will be evaluated based on creativity and originality, relevance to aviation safety and airworthiness principles, technical accuracy and depth of understanding, clarity and effectiveness of communication, and overall presentation quality and visual impact.
Prizes - Champion - RM 1000 + Certificate + Trophy
- First Runner-Up - RM 700 + Certificate
- Second Runner-Up - RM 500 + Certificate
- Top 10 Finalists - Certificates of Recognition
- Cash prizes will be awarded per team unless otherwise stated.
- Winning entries will be featured at MyAero Summit 2026 and published in post-event safety outreach materials.
Terms & Conditions - Submissions can be made individually or in teams of 2 to 3 members per team. (students or working professionals)
- Teams do not need to be affiliated with any educational institution. There is no limit to the number of teams each institution may send.
- IEM reserves the right to use entries for educational and promotion purposes, with attribution, while original IP remains with the creator.
- Members and family members of the ASC Committee are not allowed to participate in the competition.
- IEM reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations. In the event of any changes, all teams will be informed at least two (2) weeks in advance.
- All decisions made by the ASC Committee and judging panels are final.
- PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT - The participants have read and understood the IEM’s Personal Data Protection Notice published on IEM’s website at "www.myiem.org.my” and participants agree to IEM’s use thus processing of their personal data as set out in the said notice.
