The IEMTA and IEM Standing Committee on Professional Practice is pleased to invite IEM Members to an exclusive Technical
Visit to the ESG Centre Kuala Lumpur on 29 January 2026. This is a unique opportunity to explore Malaysia’s leading
sustainability hub and gain firsthand insights into national ESG initiatives shaping our industries and engineering landscape.
Located at the iconic TRX City Park, the ESG Centre is Malaysia’s first-ever “Sustainability Insights” hub, designed to
accelerate Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) adoption across sectors. This visit offers members an insider look into
how ESG frameworks are transforming business practices, regulatory standards, and national development priorities.
Participants will be briefed by Tn. Hj. Ismail bin Abdullah, who will share the Centre’s mission in empowering businesses,
government agencies, and communities to embed ESG values in their operations. Members will also learn how the Centre
serves as a collaborative platform to raise public awareness, enhance sustainability literacy, and support alignment with the
UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
