OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this Program for Professional Services Productivity Programme (PSPP) are: -
- To introduce a comprehensive list of Malaysian sustainable ECF with specialisations;
- To groom a list of local sustainable consulting firms into world-class specialist consulting firms in each field that can compete with international firms overseas;
- To facilitate participating ECF to achieve Malaysia’s group/list of sustainable consulting firms that could compete in the international market;
- To focus on Malaysian local firms rather than international firms with branches in Malaysia, in order to retain talent and have a Malaysian brand to export services.
TRAINING MODULES
The program covers the theoretical training that consists of the following modules: –
- MODULE 1: Introduction and Advantage of Sustainable ECF Model
- MODULE 2: Setting up of ECF Sustainable Model with Examples for the Trainees
- MODULE 3: Deep Dive Coaching with Volunteered Companies
- MODULE 4: Sharing Session by Participating Companies with Advice and Recommendation by Master Mentor
TRAINERS'
• Ir. Dr Tan Yean Chin, Founder and Senior Director of G&P Professionals group of multi disciplines engineering consulting firms. He was President of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM)(2016-2018) and served 10 years as Board Member of the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM). He is currently the Secretary General of Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP), an international engineering organisation. He is an Honorary Fellow of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO), Fellow of IEM, Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE, UK), ASEAN Academy of Engineering & Technology (AAET) and Academy of Engineering and Technology of the Developing World (AETDEW).
• Ir. Ahmad Nazari Ashari, Chairman and co-founder of MECIP Global Engineers Sdn Bhd and MECIP (M) Sdn Bhd. He is a registered PE and a registered Electrical Services Engineer with the Energy Commission of Malaysia. Ir Nazari has over 38 years working experience, with the initial 18 years in PETRONAS and the remaining 20 years managing a business. He is currently a council member of MOGEC and Vice Chairman of IEM Terengganu.
• Ir. Dr Low Hin Foo, graduated from University Malaya with an Honours degree in Civil Engineering in 1999, and obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from Monash University in 2020. He has more than 22 years of design and construction experience in of prestressed building structures as well as various types of long-span bridges both locally and abroad. He was the Technical Manager of the international prestressing specialist contractor, BBR Construction Systems (M) Sdn Bhd; and he is currently the Principal Engineer of a multi-disciplinary consultancy firm, OSD Consultants (M) Sdn Bhd, Managing Director of OS Alliance (Singapore) Pte Ltd, and the Group Managing Director of OSD Alliance Design Group.
• Ir. Yau Chau Fong, has more than 20 years working experience mainly in a large and reputable Consultant Firm. He has established his own M&E consultancy practice, Duriane Professionals Sdn Bhd since 2011. His activeness in engineering fraternity is amplified through his involvement in the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) as well as at ASEAN level. Currently he is the Vice President, heading the Standing Committee on Activities Committee in IEM and rendering his expertise and experience in various committees. While in the ASEAN stage he is the AER Head Commissioner under ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organization (AFEO), whereby he advocates the mobility of engineers within the ASEAN countries.
