It’s that time of the year again! Conference of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (CAFEO) opens its doors for yet another dynamic fellowship. This year, Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia (PII) is honoured to host the CAFEO37 in Indonesia.

CAFEO 37 will be centered on its main theme “The Beacon for Sustainable Development”, coupled with related topics as such:

1. Transportation and Logistic
2. Information and Telecommunication
3. Education & Capacity Building
4. Sustainable Cities
5. Power, Electrical and Renewable Energy

IEM – MATRADE COLLABORATION (for Conference Participants and Exhibitors)

IEM will be collaborating with the organizers of Power Generation, Renewable Energy & Electrical Equipment Exhibition to set up a Malaysia Pavilion at the exhibition. For the One-to-One Business Meeting, IEM will be collaborating with MATRADE to maximize Malaysian companies’ participation in this event. Kindly indicate and submit your business interest for the arrangement of the business meeting. 

Participants of Malaysia Pavilion at Power Generation, Renewable Energy & Electrical Equipment Exhibitions will be considered for MDG financial assistance under MATRADE which covers participation fee or booth rental, booth construction or enhancement, air fare, public land transportation - bus, taxi or train from Malaysia to an ASEAN country and accommodation to a maximum of RM15,000 under the activity - Participation in International Trade Fairs while participants of Conference of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (CAFEO37), MDG financial assistance will cover the participation fee, air fare, public land transportation - bus, taxi or train from Malaysia to an ASEAN country and accommodation up to RM2,500 under the activity -  participation in International Conference. To eligible for the above assistance, exhibitors and conference participants must be registered as MATRADE member and submissions for reimbursements must be made within 30 calendar days from the last date of the promotion activity.

MDG was introduced in 2002 with the aims to support Malaysian exporters’ core expenses in promoting Malaysian products or services. The SMEs can apply for reimbursable grant up to RM200,000.00 for eligible export promotion activities as below:

a) Participation in International Trade Fairs or Exhibitions held in Malaysia/Overseas;
b) Trade & Investment Mission (TIM) or Export Acceleration Missions (EAM);
c) International Conference held overseas; and
d) Listing fees for Made in Malaysia products in Supermarkets
