Position: Project Engineer (Head of Department – Fiberglass Division)
Company: City Thermoplastic Engineering Sdn Bhd
An enthusiastic project engineer in the plastic fabrication industry that involves designing of WWTP and fabrication of storage tanks & vessels (FRP, PVC, PP, PE etc), industrial piping system, cadwork & 3D modeling and steelwork.
Job scopes include:
• Sales and marketing

• Design and build (design calculation and manufacturing)
• Procurement of raw material
• Managerial of people and resource in the department
• Project planning, budgeting, execution and supervision
• Quality control procedure
• After sales service for client
Choo’s Experience:
1. Involved in designing all the fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) products such as FRP tanks, pipes and steel structures by using 3D AutoCAD modeling, 3D plant, Inventor (Nastran) and Navisworks.
2. Involved in monitoring the fabrication of FRP products through various methods of QC such as leak test, acetone test, dimensional test, hardness test, holiday spark test etc.
3. Involved in preparing all QC documents such as MDR (Manufacturing Data Report), Inspection Reports etc.
4. Involved in transportation of various kind of our products with the most appropriate transport vehicles.
5. Specialized with the fabrication process of FRP products and materials to fabricate them.
6. Participate in the annual ISO9001 audit to maintain the SIRIM certified status for the company. Assist in developing and updating strategies and forms for the implementation of the ISO system in supervision works.
7. Participate in the annual IKRAM audit to maintain the certified status for the company.
8. Make sure the products are good quality checked through process-oriented documentation approach and procedures required to achieve effective quality management.
