SYNOPSIS ABOUT MARii
Malaysia Automotive, Robotics & IoT Institute (MARii), is an agency under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). Serving as the focal point, coordination centre and think tank for the nation’s automotive industry, it functions to enhance technology, human capital, supply chain, market outreach and aftersales capabilities of all automotive stakeholders and ecosystems.
MARii focus on works closely with all stakeholders to spur technology adoption, innovation and capacity building for Malaysian businesses and talent within the automotive and overall mobility sector, through the strategic policy research and deployment technology programmes catered to various levels of business and social strata, in a multitude of sectors such as advanced design, smart manufacturing, data sciences, intelligent transport systems and Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS).
About NETC
National Emission Test Center located in Sg. Choh, Rawang, Malaysia is the most advanced vehicle emission testing facility in ASEAN.
The facilities include real-time measurement of exhaust emission for passenger cars in accordance with UN Regulation 83 and 101.
The emissions lab is equipped with Emission Chassis Dynamometer within a climatic chamber. It also features a soak room, emission & equipment room, control room and a new facilities SHED room.
The centre operated by Malaysia Automotive Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) and is open to all vehicle manufacturers in Malaysia and ASEAN.
The objective of this visit is to have some briefing regarding the operation, latest technologies, capabilities and others facilities available at their National Emission Testing Centre, located in Bukit Beruntung, Rawang.
NOTE: • The visit is strictly limited to 30 participants registered on a first-come, first-served basis.
