SYNOPSIS
MQTT is an OASIS standard messaging protocol for the Internet of Things (IoT). It is designed as an extremely lightweight publish/subscribe messaging transport that is ideal for connecting remote devices with a small code footprint and minimal network bandwidth. MQTT today is used in a wide variety of industries, such as automotive, manufacturing, telecommunications, oil and gas, etc.
BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Ir. Lee Mun Poh
Graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Sussex (UK) in 1975. He is a registered Professional Engineer with a Practising Certificate (Mechanical), Board of Engineers, Malaysia. Ir. Lee has more than 45 years working experience in the field of industrial automation and controls. He was the past Chairman to IEMICTSIG. He has completed projects in Wood, Electronic, Electrical, Chemical and Automotive Industries.
