In the current challenging market (constraint on budget & limited SI), wherein design is forced to stretch, therefore proper execution, especially in geotechnical field, is vital for the intended performance of ground improvement. This evening talk will give you an overview of ground improvement techniques, selection criteria of ground improvement techniques and important points to be observed during: - the execution of various ground improvement techniques - quality control via real time monitoring - sampling method and testing - instrumentation & monitoring One or two case studies on each technique will be presented to share the challenges & lessons learned.

Mr. Sreenivasa Raju P.
Sreenivasa Raju is graduated in Civil Engineering from Institution of Engineers, India in 1992. He has joined Keller Malaysia in 1996 and has more than 25years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering. First 20years of his career, he has been very active in the execution of ground improvement works of major projects in Malaysia, i.e, Shah Alam Expressway, KLIA, DUKE Highway, LPT Phase2, Alor Setar Airport, Ipoh Padang Besar Double Track, KLIA2, HT Dam, SMART, MRT Line1 & 2, P2X, TRX, Sarawak Methanol Plant & Southern Double Track. He has hands on experience in various ground improvement solutions which includes – Stone Columns, Hybrid Columns, Soil Mixing, Drilling & Grouting, Compaction Grouting, Jet Grouting & TAM Grouting. He is currently General Manager & Head of Keller (M) Sdn Bhd. He is a member of MGS.
