SYNOPSIS
The presentation will highlight the approach towards building a safe and condusive environment for building occupants and customers during this Covid 19 Pandemic. In brief the presentation will highlight the current SOP in practice and the guidance notes on the ventilation and indoor air quality (IAQ) requirements to reduce the risk of airborne transmission of Covid-19, released by the Ministry of Human Resources through Department of Safety and Health (DOSH). The importance for a proper ventilation, regular maintenance and effective sterilization of viruses in the supply air of an ACMV system of a building is crucial to boost the confidence of our stakeholders.
BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Ir. Gopal Narian Kutty
Ir. Gopal Narian Kutty is the Vice President of EnerMap Solution and the Green Solution Specialist of BlueSnow Energy, an Energy Solution Company, a former Senior Director of Mechanical Engineering Branch and the Director of Environment & Energy Efficiency Branch of JKR Malaysia. He was the Vice President of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) for three (3) terms and served 8 years as a Board Member of the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM) and also served as a Board Member of the Board of Architect, Malaysia for 2 terms.
He is a PEPC with the Board of Engineers, Honorary Fellow of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO), Fellow of IEM, ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and a Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM). He was the National Project Director for Building Sector Energy Efficiency Program (BSEEP) funded by UNDP and has vast experiences in mechanical design, sustainability construction, conservation & energy efficiency fields.
