OVERVIEW
This is an Introductory Course on Python programming language. Emphasis here is on the characteristics and functions of the language. Integrated development environment (IDE) software used to write scripts is not our focus. Initial sessions will be conducted on to avoid wasting time setting up a development environment. Python3 version is chosen but other versions are accepted.
CLASS CONTENT
The intent of these classes is to introduce you to computer programming using the Python programming language. Programming is a creative process, so we’ll be working on developing some creative skills. At the same time, there are certain patterns that can be used over and over again in this creative process. The goal of these classes is to get you familiar with these patterns and show you how they can be used in programs.
After attending these classes and practicing you should be able to identify which of these patterns are needed to implement a program for a particular task and you will be able to apply these patterns to solve new and interesting problems.
