Julio Fernando Jover Azpurua, PhD
BEng, PhD, AmICHEME,

Julio Jover has over 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry.  Highly experienced in offshore design projects of Concept & Select and Development, FEED, Detailed Engineering/EPCI and Commissioning/Installation support. Areas of expertise includes deep and shallow water, Oil and Gas production and export systems, gas and water injection facilities

Julio Jover holds a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Simón Bolívar, Venezuela (2005) and Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London, UK (2011) . He has published papers revolving flow assurance and physical chemistry. He joined Genesis Oil and Gas in London (2012) and after a year transferred to the Houston office where he spent 5 years. He relocated to Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia in 2019 where he joined the team as a Flow Assurance Lead.

An expert user of commercial flow assurance related simulators; OLGA, PIPESIM and PVTSim for hydraulic analysis purposes, Julio also enjoys updating his skills on software such as Python, Visual Basic and Power BI; always looking for ways to work less, deliver more and faster.
