Overview
Node Js is a javascript-like programming language. The beauty of Node.js is that it has enabled millions of front-end web service developers who are good and skillful in writing java-script for browser web service to write server-side code on top of client-side code without the need to learn additional programming language. In addition, Node.js has simple and elegant programming structure for the learners to grasp the knowledge and concepts of programming development quickly and easily.

- Node.js Introduction, advantages. - Node.js numbers, strings, string built-in functions, booleans and data types. - Node.js input-output streams. - Node.js relational operators, conditional statement, loop statements, etc. - Node.js arrays, array built-in functions, objects and JSON. - Node.js user-defined function, arguments, callbacks and useful utility functions. - Node.js encoding, buffer, packages, file system, NPM, debugging, etc. - Node.js with Raspberry Pi introductory level programming and demo.
Speaker Profile
Ir. Daniel Pu is a Senior Engineer in MIMOS Berhad, he is responsible for developing information security applications on IoT (Internet of Things) devices for multi-factor authentication systems with many years of experience. Before joining MIMOS Berhad as Senior Engineer, he was an experienced lecturer in universities and he taught programming, mathematics and electronic engineering courses. Given his vast experience in development and teaching, he was invited to conduct several programming workshops for engineers and students by IEM and universities respectively.
